Easy Domain Name Availability Checking
A good domain name is essential, whether it’s some sort of nonsense name ment to capture the spirit of your venture (google.com), or a very specific name meant to impart the actual function of the site (tampamuaythai.com).
There are plenty of places online to search for available domain names. Most hosting companies offer domain name registration services and will do a quick search when you type in a domain name. But we Internet Marketers are often much more specific with our domain name needs.
I used to do my searches through GoDaddy because it automatically provided alternatives if the .com was taken, but over the last few months I’ve been using AjaxWhoIs.com.
It’s Ajaxified, whcih means it searches for domain name availability as you type, making it very easy to quickly check the availablity of top level domain names (or more if you’re inclined).
It even automatically checks to see if the name you want can spell something when added to some of the more esoteric domain extensions (bit.ly anyone?)
My fav by far!
